Shalom everyone. It's been a long time since I've done a post, so I asked Hannah to let me have this one.
On Sunday morning, we were offered a ride down to Tiberias, to do some sightseeing. Our friend who gave us the ride, dropped us off close to the center of the city, due to the fact that there was a place to park and she had things to do in that area. We were going to walk way up to the top of the city so that we could get an internet connection at Aromas (internet cafe). However our friend mentioned that we should walk down to the water front and see if we could find a place to get internet. (The water front was about half the distance of Aromas, from where we were). We decided to take her advice and started to walk to the water.
Once we got down to the water, I noticed a boat moored to the dock. I pointed it out to Hannah, and she said, "That's Faith".
"Faith" is a worship boat that belongs to a man by the name of Daniel Carmel. Daniel is a believer - a recording artist who has translated some comtemporary worship songs into Hebrew. He also has a boat, and he gives people tours on the Galilee. While we were sitting there trying to get internet, I noticed that Daniel Carmel was out on his boat. After we had been there for about five minutes I saw that Daniel was coming on shore. So I thought "I am going to introduce my self." (We had actually see Daniel in Nashville back in Febuary. He had called out to us as we were walking past each other in a big hotel. However he thought we were someone else, and did not get introduced).
As he came ashore, I stood up from where I was sitting and called out to him. He stopped, and I introduced myself and reminded him about almost meeting in Nashville. I also told him that we really enjoy his music. Daniel asked a few questions and then said, "I've got a tour group coming in about half an hour. Be here then and you can go out with us." We thanked him very much and told him that we would be there.
Hannah and I had been wanting to go out on his boat, but could not find out how to get a hold of him. We were so thankful how YHVH had lead our steps. If we had gone up to Aromas, we would never have met Daniel Carmel or gone out on his boat with him. For more info about Daniel, check out his website by

Hannah and I spent about half an hour to forty five minutes out on the Sea of Galilee. During our half hour wait, Hannah and I walked along the water front and took some pictures.
Me on the water front.
I was on a floating dock that a rental company ties their boats to.
Hannah took my picture, and then I took hers.
I was trying to read the name of this boat, so I zoomed in on the camera and took the picture.
Hannah looking out over the Galilee
What looked like a deserted boat, moored to a concrete pillar in the water
Wishing I had the faith to walk on it :)
The mountain range across the water is called, "The Golan Heights" It is part of the land that Israel says they will give back. I don't think it will happen.
Could you imagine walking on it? That would have been a sight well worth seeing :)
On 'Faith' with a tour group from Bulgaria.
Another picture of the Golan. I want to live there when I come to Israel.
Looking back at Tiberias.
The water was so smooth the boat did not even rock underneath you :)
At the front of the boat, looking towards the back.
Hannah said her head was hurting, although she did not act like it was. More power to her :)
Our host, Daniel Carmel. What a blessing. Toda Raba. (Thank you very much)
Headed back to shore.
Tiberias.
I think that's another of the Golan.
And another.
In the very front of the boat, I think it's called the "Bow"
Hannah at the "Bow"
Dancing on the water? Well almost.....The next best thing :)
Daniel Carmel sings "Draw Me Close To You" in English and Hebrew. It was a powerful time of praise and worship.
Trying to take a picture of both of us.
This one was a little better :)
After thanking and saying goodbye to Daniel, we went ashore and took some pictures of 'Faith'
We had a wonderful time and are looking forward to another visit next time.
Thats all for now. We will post a couple videos later.
Shalom until next time. T. for the two of us.
