For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.

L'ma'an Tzion lo echesheh. U'l'ma'an Yerushalayim lo eshkot. Ad yetzi ka no ga tzidkah. Lo echesheh.

למען ציון לא אחשׁה ולמען ירושׁלם לא אשׁקוט עד יצא כנגה צדקה וישׁועתה כלפיד יבער

Giveaway Winner and Prayer Request ... by Hannah

Hello Everyone!

We are happy to announce that the winner of the giveaway is: Sharia H. Congratulations Sharia!!

We are leaving in two days (May 7th) to drive to Delaware, where we will spend the night with my grandmother. Our flight will depart Newark at approximately 6:40pm. We are supposed to arrive in Belgium at 7:50am on Monday morning, where we will get to spend the day exploring Brussels. Our flight will depart Brussels at 7:00pm, and arrive in Tel Aviv at 12:20am. Some kind friends are planning to come pick us up when we arrive, even though we told them we wouldn't mind waiting in the airport for a more reasonable hour :)

I have a couple of prayer requests:

  • I don't want to get stressed! Some situations can really stress me out, and this would be the type to do it :) Several friends have shared that this trip is going to be a time for me to learn to rest in YHWH. Please pray that I will be able to do that (I really want to!).
  • Tommy and I want to have wisdom in the situations that arise. We are a very close-knit family, and usually do everything together, so this is a totally new experience for us two to go so far away for a long period of time. One friend shared about the young eaglets, and how the parents will push them out of the nest so that they learn to fly. He said that he sees Tommy and me in that position. Please pray that we will have wisdom and guidance, and hear the Father's voice clearly.
  • We want to be a witness, and bless those that we come in contact with. Yeshua said that we, as believers, are the light of the world. Please pray that we will be shining stars in a dark world :)
  • When we went to Israel as a family, we flew out of Newark, and were stuck in traffic for a long time! We were concerned that we may miss our flight, but after many prayers, the traffic cleared and we were able to get to the airport on time. Please pray that there will not be delays, and that we can arrive in His perfect timing.
  • Neither Tommy or I like what we have heard about the new "security" procedures that have been implemented in the airports. Please pray for favor in that situation.
  • We are going to miss our family greatly, and they are going to miss us! In a way, I think it may be harder for them, since we will be busy with new friends and surroundings. I am very thankful for Skype and Gmail, and we are looking forward to communicating regularly. Please pray for all of us as we are apart.

We are very grateful to all of you for your prayers and words of encouragement. Be blessed!
