For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.

L'ma'an Tzion lo echesheh. U'l'ma'an Yerushalayim lo eshkot. Ad yetzi ka no ga tzidkah. Lo echesheh.

למען ציון לא אחשׁה ולמען ירושׁלם לא אשׁקוט עד יצא כנגה צדקה וישׁועתה כלפיד יבער

A Month In Review - June 2015

Hello Friends and Family!

I hope this finds you all well.  This past month was very busy for us ... especially since Abba, Hannah and Tommy were in Israel for the first half of it.  So ... I have a bunch of pictures .... I hope y'all don't mind!  Anyways, I am going to split this up into 3 parts: Family At Home, Family In Israel and Reunited!  Here you go …

Family At Home:

One afternoon Abigail, Samuel and Lydia packed up to go for an overnight camping trip back in our neighbor's woods.

Ima, Ruthie and I went in the evening to check out their area.  It was a really nice area/set up (sadly we don't have any good pictures of it though).

Samuel making popcorn ... by the way, he was not burning the corn kernels :)

It actually turned out really good!

You have to have good food (and coffee) when you are camping :)

The Three Musketeers!

Samuel had been looking for a yellow Lab puppy for awhile to raise for our breeding stock.  We found a person who had 2 litters of puppies and we met them and held all the pups and picked out Miss Dixie!

We have really been enjoying our horses this past month.

Dear friends came for a short visit!  We had a blast fellowshipping, walking, playing games, talking to the family on Skype ... watching puppies be born ... watching a talent show from Israel a couple years ago and laughing late into the night!  It was a good time the whole time!

Samuel making a volcano for the children.

Sam, in the fort he built ... he recently finished putting all the wood paneling up!

Family In Israel:

This "sign" is heading into Jerusalem and means "Welcome" or "Blessed are those who come".

Abba and Tommy left Hannah at Christ Church and went up on the Temple Mount one day.

And ... they had rocks thrown at them by some Arab teenagers.

They got to see the Jerusalem light show one night.

At the Dead Sea.

Looking at the Dead Sea and Jordan on the other side, from Engedi.

David's Fall.

Gan HaShlosha.

With a dear friend ...

... and adorable babies!

The Yafo/Tel Aviv beach, looking at Tel Aviv ...

... and now towards Yafo (Jaffa/Joppa).

Reunited:
We were so excited when the day finally came for us to go to the airport and pick up Abba, Hannah and Tommy!  Abba landed several hours before H and T ... so we got to hang out for a few hours until they arrived!  As soon as we got in our suburban, someone asked where we should go and Abba said he wanted to go to ....

Kroger!!!
Kroger might be Abba's favorite store ... BECAUSE, he loves finding deals!  So, we all headed in to Kroger :)

Abba hardly had anything to eat while traveling, so we got him a good meal.  He was so glad to find some Brie cheese on sale ... and the olive bar ... he loves olives :)

We then went to a park for a picnic.  It was really beautiful.

We took Abba out to eat for Father's Day.

Ima took Abba away for a couple days, several days after he returned.

They went to the Alabama mountains ... and there was a pretty waterfall there.

She got a cabin ...

... and ironically it was called "The Ole Dad Cabin" :)  Haha ... she did not choose that cabin because of the name - she actually choose another cabin but something was broken, so they gave them another one.

One of the days while Abba and Ima were away, we packed up and went to Fall Creek Falls State park to go canoeing and swimming.

Even though it was a little overcast most of the time ... we still got sunburnt :)

A picnic lunch!

The Fall Creek Falls.

 Lydia likes painting.

We had friends over one Shabbat to visit and Tommy was giving the little children a gift he'd brought back for them from Israel.

Going for a walk.

Having Bible study.

Sam Bam The Man is our popcorn maker!

Well, that is all I have for now.  I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July!  Shalom and Blessings.
