For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.

L'ma'an Tzion lo echesheh. U'l'ma'an Yerushalayim lo eshkot. Ad yetzi ka no ga tzidkah. Lo echesheh.

למען ציון לא אחשׁה ולמען ירושׁלם לא אשׁקוט עד יצא כנגה צדקה וישׁועתה כלפיד יבער

Isaiah 62:1

A Month In Review: October

Shalom Friends and Family,

I am sorry this post is so delayed.  I was hoping to get it done sooner, but it took some time to sort through the Sukkot pictures and videos, etc.  I decided it would take too much space and time to put the Sukkot pictures on a post, so I made a slideshow of them instead.  But, if any of you would like a specific picture from it, just drop me an email and I can send it to you.  Also, Jay posted a lot of beautiful pictures on his Flickr account, and you can see those by clicking HERE.  And, if you are wondering about the difference in quality in some of the pictures and videos, they were taken by several different people and cameras/phones, therefore the difference in quality :)

Anyways, here they are ... enjoy!

Now some dancing videos!

We joined another group that was camping for Sukkot one afternoon and danced with them for awhile.  This is us dancing to Clap Your Hands.

One day when it was raining and we were having a hard time staying dry, we went and danced under the Pavilion for several hours.  It kept us both dry ... and warm:)

Heya Dance Practice #1.
We practiced this dance several times ... but sadly we never were able to dance it "good all the way through" ... maybe next year!

Heya Dance Practice #2.

On the last Shabbat we spent several hours dancing.  It was really neat because we were doing it out in this field area, and we saw a bunch of people watching us on the other side of the field, and a majority of those watching us were part of a high school group that was camping there.  It was a great witness ... we had several people ask us about who we were, what we were doing, one lady even brought over cookies and told us that she had really enjoyed watching our group!  Anyways, here is us dancing to Ani Mamin.

A family joined us a couple days at Sukkot and they taught us these next two dances.  I had done the first one at a wedding several years back, but it was fun doing it again with our group.

When we left Sukkot, Clinton & Sharon and four of Sharon's siblings, came back to our house to visit for several days.  One of the days when they were here, we went to a Historic Village in Murfreesboro and spent a couple hours there.  We had never been there before, and we were very pleased with it ... it was small, but it was still really neat "stepping back in time"!

That is all for now.  Happy Thanksgiving!
