For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.

L'ma'an Tzion lo echesheh. U'l'ma'an Yerushalayim lo eshkot. Ad yetzi ka no ga tzidkah. Lo echesheh.

למען ציון לא אחשׁה ולמען ירושׁלם לא אשׁקוט עד יצא כנגה צדקה וישׁועתה כלפיד יבער

Isaiah 62:1

Two Months In Review: August & September 2015

Shalom Friends,

I hope you all are well!  I am sorry I did not post last month ... life was just too busy to sort through pictures and make a post!  Life is still busy, but I decided I would try to bring you up to date regarding what was happening in our lives!

What have we been doing the past two months????

Knocking down walls in our new house :)  There were three small rooms, so we knocked out two big walls to make a large open room which is our kitchen, dining room and living room!

Is this better?!? :)

The guys had to make a beam to go in one place.  Abba wrote on it, "Up To Jerusalem!"

Putting the beam in ... it was heavy!

We did a lot of painting.

The girls room!

Abba painting the ceiling in our wood stove/lounge room.

Priming the sheetrock.  Oh, we also put in those new windows last month.

Painting the "big room".

The walls painted ... now they need some trim :)

By the way, this is what happens when you fall asleep while others are mudding sheetrock :)

We also fixed ... rotten flooring!

The kitchen sink (and laundry) had been draining right under the floor, so we also had to fix the drain!  But, it was a lot easier than what we expected, so that was a blessing!

Done!

There was another rotten spot ... and I just love this pic of the boys sitting their and Sam's smile :)

This was also an "easy" fix!

Clinton and Sharon (and Natan'el) came a couple times to help us.  It was such a blessing and we all enjoyed holding Natan'el when we could take a break from working!

Abba had a birthday in August and on the same day, we took our old mini school bus to the junk yard ;(  It was old, broken and we didn't want to move it again!

Tommy had to tow him.

Homemade Chocolate Pudding anyone?!?

The guys on a job site :)

Oh ... and Happy Hill Pups has had some pretty adorable puppies these past months!

But back to the house ... we started laying hardwood in the big room.

And we finished it!!!

Sorry for the mess!

I love these beautiful flowers.

Abigail.

We had a huge storm one day ... but it was SO beautiful!

And ... the day finally came this last month for us to move!  Our new place was not (and still is not) finished ... but someone had to move into our old place, so we moved out.

Thanks to Amber, Miss Barbara, Clinton and Sharon for helping us in this move!

Hannah bought steaks for everyone as a celebration once we moved in and Tommy grilled them (along with corn on the cob) for us.

And ... we are finally home!  If we look exhausted, there's a good reason for it!

Lydia on Stone.

Gracie loved to run along side while we rode Stone ... but after kicking Abigail's foot, we put her up in the barn!

A couple days after we moved, a guy came to move our dog house from the old place to our new home.

After loading our dog house ... the guy tried to pull out, but because of the soft, wet yard, he got stuck and Tommy had to pull him out!  Tommy enjoyed teasing him a little about his GMC pulling a Ford out and he said I had to post this video:)

It was really funny seeing it go down the road :)

And it was most definitely a wide load ... it took up the WHOLE road :)  We were praying no one came from the other direction :)  By the way, our dog house is 12'x24' for whoever might be wondering!

Unloading it at our home!

Hannah, Abigail and Lydia delivered a couple puppies to Nashville one day.

Last Shabbat, we went to a Sabbath gathering in Georgia.  James and Liz Block were visiting from Israel and we really appreciated them leading us in worship (along with the regular local band who also played).  If you have not heard James' music before, I highly recommend it.  I will post some videos below, but I would also encourage you purchasing his CD's from his site

Our family with James and Liz!

Abba, Hannah & Tommy met Mr. & Mrs. Rambo while in Israel this past Spring and we all enjoyed our time together in GA.

Sarah and Sarah :)

And Lydia and Lydia :)

Now ... here are some videos!  I have several videos from our family, but I am also going to share some videos that Mr. Pete from Natsab took (I am sorry for any duplicates).  The local band (Shivat Tzion) led us first and then James took over after lunch.  I pray they are a blessing to you!
