For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.

L'ma'an Tzion lo echesheh. U'l'ma'an Yerushalayim lo eshkot. Ad yetzi ka no ga tzidkah. Lo echesheh.

למען ציון לא אחשׁה ולמען ירושׁלם לא אשׁקוט עד יצא כנגה צדקה וישׁועתה כלפיד יבער

Isaiah 62:1

Israel, Here We Come! ... by Hannah

I'm so excited ... I'm So Excited ... I'M SO EXCITED!!!

Did you hear me? I said, "I'm so excited" :) :)

We purchased our tickets last night! After shopping around ... checking prices on this site and that site and every other site ("here a plane, there a plane, everywhere a plane, plane!") ... comparing prices again ... and AGAIN ... trying to work out all the details ...

... we finally made our decision last night! There is a family in MA who is buying one of our Lab puppies, and we will be delivering her to them and flying out of Newark on the same trip. We will be departing EWR the evening of May 8th, and flying on Jet Airways (it's an Indian airline) to Brussels Belgium. Our layover will be about 11 hours long - from 7:50am to 7:00pm. We are looking forward to exploring the city! Then we will fly to Tel Aviv on Brussels Airlines, and arrive at 12:20am :) Like the hours? :)

Once we arrive in Israel, we are not sure what our itinerary will be. We will probably go to Afula, which is where we lived as a family for 2 1/2 months. At some point, we will head down to Ezuz, to help out some friends of ours for several weeks. We also want to spend some time traveling the country, and visiting friends.

We are thrilled to be able to have this opportunity ... it is something that we have been hoping and praying for ... for nearly five years!

More info later ... right now I need to figure out my clothing situation, and decide what I need to get (and what I need to sew!) before we leave.

אני כל כך נרגשת

(that means, I'm so excited!)
