For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.

L'ma'an Tzion lo echesheh. U'l'ma'an Yerushalayim lo eshkot. Ad yetzi ka no ga tzidkah. Lo echesheh.

למען ציון לא אחשׁה ולמען ירושׁלם לא אשׁקוט עד יצא כנגה צדקה וישׁועתה כלפיד יבער

Two Months In Review: November & Decemeber 2015

Shalom Friends!
Is it just me, or has this year really seemed to fly by?!?!  I can hardly believe that we are starting 2016!

I am sorry I didn't post last month ... there were not many pictures to share, but here are a few!

My parents had to deliver a puppy to FL and on their way back, they picked up my Grandmother and brought her home for a visit!

I love these pictures of Lydia reading the Bible to Natan'el!

We had a nice, quiet Thanksgiving at home with Clinton, Sharon & Natan'el.

Abigail putting the rolls to rise.

Ruthie putting the stuffing in a bowl & Abba carving the turkey.

Everyone ... except for Tommy (he took the picture)!

 Clinton, Sharon & Natan'el.

Abba & Ima.

 A teething baby ;)

Lydia's birthday was at the beginning of December and we have a tradition that Abba makes pizza for her!  Abba makes the best pizza!

Happy Birthday Lydia!

During the middle of December, our whole family went on a delivery trip to the Northeast and we also went to visit my Grandmother!

While at my grandmother's, Abba took Sam to the local Barber Shop where 5 generations of Ima's family has gone!  It is pretty neat and they said that we are the only 5 generation family that they have served!

We also went to the beach one day!  It was pretty cold ... but Lydia was our brave one and put her feet in ;)

For the last several years, Abigail has caught a seagull when we go to the beach, so this year Abba and the children tried yet again!

Finally ... one was caught!

We had a very nice time visiting our Grandmother, Uncles, Aunts & Cousins and on our way home, we stopped in Virginia to see the Grand Caverns.  We children had never seen caverns before, so it was pretty neat!

After going to the Caverns, we went to a hotel for the night and the children had fun playing in the pool!

Tug-of-war!

Here is a little skit that Sam & Lydia did ... we sent it up to Hannah (who was in the room) and she replied, "Is that the Two Stooges Lifeguard?!?"

This past weekend we finally had time to put the hardwood flooring down in our "stove room" ... here is a "before" picture of the old, paint-splattered flooring.

We pushed our table to the side and our dining-room & kitchen became a work zone once again!

Organizing the flooring for quick & easy pickup!

Almost complete ...

We ran out of flooring right before the hallway ... so we called it a day!  Abba & Ima just got more flooring to finish the room & hallway though ... so we'll probably be working on that soon :)  We are SO thankful for this place ... but it is a work in progress!

Recently, our whole family has been going out to a nearby field where we were given permission to cut down the trees!  We have been getting firewood as a family for so many years now and I really enjoy it!  It's a fun family activity ... and a very useful one too :)

Goofing off:)

Timber!

A trailer full!

Stacked in the shed.

Well, that is all for now!  I pray you all have a very blessed 2016!  Shalom.
