For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.

L'ma'an Tzion lo echesheh. U'l'ma'an Yerushalayim lo eshkot. Ad yetzi ka no ga tzidkah. Lo echesheh.

למען ציון לא אחשׁה ולמען ירושׁלם לא אשׁקוט עד יצא כנגה צדקה וישׁועתה כלפיד יבער

Sukkot Pictures #4

Shalom ... here is another post!

Mikvah:

Cadence wanted to get baptized one day, so we had a Mikvah for her.

Ima and Miss Melody.

Clinton, Sharon, and Miss Rohan.

Justin and Andrea.

Madison.

Justin and Andrea were our "photography team" ... thank y'all!

She was so happy!

I love this one ... Lydia and Madison were waiting to give Cadence a hug.

The whole family.

Music and Dance:

I was rather surprised that we did not have more pictures in this category ... we did a good bit of it.

Tommy on the bass, Abigail on the piano, and Abba on the guitar.

Ruthie and Abba.

Tommy and now Hannah on the piano.

Abba and Madison.

Tommy, Abba, and now Sarah on the piano.  Justin had a huge song book that we were going through.  By the way ... we did not start at the beginning :)

There were other people playing instruments at different points as well, but no one got pictures of it :( .

Shofar Blowing:

As I mentioned before, there was another group camping there for Sukkot as well.  We would hear them blowing their shofars off and on ... so one night it was arranged by my father that at 6:00pm everyone in our group that had a shofar would blow it, and then after we stopped, everyone in the other group that has a shofar would blow it.  It was pretty neat!

Building the Sukkah:
"Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto YHWH seven days: on the first day shall be a Sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a Sabbath.  And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before YHWH your El seven days.  And ye shall keep it a feast unto YHWH seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month.  Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Israelites born shall dwell in booths:  That your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am YHWH your El."  Leviticus 23:39-43

The men put up most of the lights, but we had some extras, so Ruthie, Mary and I decorated the back wall ...

And Hannah supervised us!

Trailer Rides:

Clinton, Sharon, and Lydia.

Evan, Samuel, Tommy, Abigail, Clinton, Sharon, Lydia, Hannah, and Sarah.

On the first day we went and got firewood for everyone.

You might not believe it ... but I only have one more post with pictures!  And then one post of videos :)  See ya' soon!
